Purpose:

Content: The Property and Commercial Assets Manager submitted a report to seek approval to grant a new lease. Under rule 13.3 the recommendations were agreed without being called for discussion. RESOLVED: That Cabinet agrees to renew the lease on the terms set out in the report. Reasons: The terms of the proposed lease recommended as the best that can reasonably be obtained. Renewing the lease will: Secure an ongoing and stable rental income for the council. Retain a reputable manufacturing facility. Maintain numerous jobs in the local area. Prevent the units becoming vacant. Have a positive impact on value if it was decided to dispose of the asset in the future.   (The Chair declared the meeting closed at 6.54pm)
