Purpose: To recommend disposal of 1-2 Seven Arches Road once options have been considered

Content: The Chair added an additional recommendation: R4.  Reasonable endeavours to support the relocation of the Food Bank currently located at Seven Arches Road will be undertaken by Brentwood Borough Council.    Cllr Barrett MOVED and Cllr Davies SECONDED the recommendations. A vote was taken by show of hands and the recommendations in the exempt report were RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY:   R1. That 1-2 Seven Arches is declared surplus to Council requirements.   R2. The Council seeks a pre app in principle to determine strategy for mitigating the planning risk as outlined within this report.   R3. Following the pre app in principle, the committee approves that 1-2 Seven Arches is marketed for freehold disposal on the open market, and that delegated authority is granted to the Director of Assets and Investments, in consultation with the Section 151 and Chairman to dispose of this site to a relevant purchaser.   R4.  Reasonable endeavours to support the relocation of the Food Bank currently located at Seven Arches Road will be undertaken by Brentwood Borough Council.              The meeting concluded at 7.30pm.
