Purpose:

Content: RESOLVED that:-   (a)      Cabinet approve disposal of this site; part to a commercial developer and part to a housing developer, in accordance with the detail set out in the confidential annex.  The disposal will secure the following –   o        Delivery of a commercial development offering valuable community amenities in the locality o        Delivery of up to 135 new homes including 20 affordable homes o        A significant capital receipt;   (b)      Cabinet accept the commercial offer from Derwent Manor Ventures as per confidential annex A;   (c)      Cabinet accept the residential offer from Miller Homes as per confidential annex A;   (d)      Cabinet approve the acquisition of the 20 affordable homes via the Housing Revenue Account Affordable Housing Investment Programme on completion; and   (e)      authority be delegated to the Executive Director of Place and Regeneration in consultation with Cabinet Member and Exec Director of Finance to acquire the units once completed, with completion estimated to be in 2028-29.
