Purpose: ??To update Cabinet on the excellent progress made with the implementation of the Environmental Policy Statement Action Plan that was agreed by Cabinet in October 2023 and to seek approval to the key priorities and actions identified for the updated action plan period covering 2026/27 to 2028/29.?

Content: RESOLVED that:-   (a)      Cabinet note the excellent progress being made to implement the agreed actions and priorities detailed in its Environmental Policy Statement Action Plan over the past 3 years;   (b)      Cabinet reaffirm its support for the commitments made in the Environmental Policy Statement and approve the updated statement shown in Appendix A; and   (c)      Cabinet approve the updated Environmental Policy Statement Action Plan 2026/27 to 208/29 shown in Appendix B, which details the key work priorities and actions that the Council will be progressing to maintain, protect and enhance the high-quality environment of the county over the next 3 years.
