Purpose: To review the local transport plan for Highways. This will be to cover the LTP for 2026/27 to 2029 as part of the implementation of Highways 3 year programme.

Content: RESOLVED that:-   (a)      Cabinet approve the LTP Highway Asset Structural Maintenance Programmes for 2026/27 (Appendices A-F), 2027/28 (Appendices G-K) and 2028/29 (Appendices L-P) as described in the report;   (b)      authority be delegated to the Executive Director or Place and Regeneration in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Roads and Highways, to amend the programme as necessary over the period 2026-2029; and   (c)      the Medium Term Financial Plan for 26/27 be updated to reflect the updated allocations received from the North East Combined Authority as shown in the table at 5.12 of the report.
