Purpose: To award the contract for Security Systems and Associated Critical Infrastructure.

Content: To award the contract for Security Systems and Associated Critical Infrastructure. The Executive Resolved That  (i)    the contract for Security Systems and Associated Critical Infrastructure be awarded for an initial contract period of two years, with two optional one-year extensions; and           (ii)   authority be delegated to the Strategic Director – Finance and Resources and Strategic Director – Governance, Corporate Services and Monitoring Officer, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder, to take all necessary steps to affect the decision to  enter into a relevant contract, including finalising the call-off terms under CCS RM6257 in the form approved by Legal Services, raising the necessary Purchase Order(s), and executing the contract under seal. Reason: To allow the Council to award a contract to OCS Group UK Limited, effective from 1 April 2026 and to ensure the continued delivery of essential maintenance to security systems and infrastructure throughout the Borough.
