Purpose: To agree the finance plan for the Post 16 SEND Hub

Content: RESOLVED that the Executive:    1) Approved the appointment of Activate Learning as the lead education provider for the Post-16 SEND Hub, subject to final contractual agreement. 2) Approved that the contract for the management and delivery of the Post-16 SEND Hub will run from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2031, with the option to extend for up to a further two years, subject to satisfactory performance and evolving local need. 3) Approved that the budget for the contract will be allocated annually in line with local place-plus-top-up funding arrangements, with an estimated total top up value of approximately £4.1 million over the initial five (+2) year term from the High Needs Block. 4) Noted that the contract was funded by the High Needs Block within the DSG.
