Purpose: To approve the re- commissioning of the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) Health Visiting and School Nursing contract for 1st April 2027.

Content: RESOLVED that the Executive:  1. approved the proposal to commission a new Healthy Child Programme (HCP) Health Visiting and School Nursing contract for 7 years (3+3+2) from 1st April 2027 to 31st March 2034.   2. delegated authority to a) the Director of Public Health to award the contract for the Healthy Child Programme (Health Visiting and School Nursing) in consultation with Councillor Hare (Executive Councillor for Adult Services, Health and Wellbeing) and Councillor Bray (Executive Councillor for Children’s Services),  following a competitive tender process for expected commencement on the 1 April 2027    3. The Contract was proposed to be funded from the Public Health ring fenced grant.
