Purpose:

Content: The Leader reminded cabinet members that the next 4 reports have exempt appendices.   The Leader introduced the report on behalf of Councillor Morris-Cook who could not be present at the meeting.   RESOLVED:   2.1Cabinet approved the award of a three year contract for end user equipment supply and support services, to Specialist Computer Centre Plc, procured via the Crown Commercial Service Technology Products & Associated Services (TePAS 2) framework, to commence as soon as possible after the expiry of standstill. 2.2Cabinet delegated authority to the Executive Director of Corporate Services, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder and Lead Member for Finance & Resources: i                   To take such steps as are considered appropriate to mitigated against the potential cost increase and lead in times resulting from the Recent Developments outlined in paragraph 1.2; and ii                 to address any issues raised by unsuccessful bidders during the standstill period; and iii                to finalise and enter into the contract after the conclusion of the standstill period; and iv                to approve the implementation programme arising from this contract award, based on transformation priorities   Reason for the decision: as outlined in the report This decision is subject to call-in
