Purpose:

Content: Consideration was given to the report of the Chief Legal & Democratic Services Officer, as contained on pages 667 to 682 of the Book of Reports, which provided an update regarding the Statutory Consultation being undertaken on the proposals for Local Government Reorganisation and approve the Council's formal response.   RESOLVED:   That the Consultation response attached at Appendix 1 to the report be endorsed and the Chief Legal & Democratic Services Officer be given delegated authority to submit the response to Ministry for Housing Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) on behalf of the Council.
