Purpose: To present the Highways Capital Works Programme for 2026/27 consisting of carriageway, footway, flood management, drainage, bridges and structures and other associated works.

Content: To present the Highways Capital Works Programme for 2026/27 consisting of carriageway, footway, flood management, drainage, bridges and structures and other associated works. For the reasons set out in the report, the Executive Mayor and Cabinet AGREED:   2.1       to approve the capital expenditure of £17.580m for the delivery of the 2026/27 Work Programme consisting of carriageway and footway renewal works, carriageway and footway patching, flood management and drainage works, bridges and structures work and other associated work as identified in Appendices A, B and C subject to the provision that the overall budget is not exceeded   2.2       that authority be delegated to the Corporate Director for Sustainable Communities, Regeneration & Economic Recovery in consultation with the Executive Mayor and Cabinet Member for Streets and Environment, to approve changes to the programme within the budgetary envelope.
