Purpose: Pursuant to an Authorisation from Individual Cabinet Member decision on 3rd October, 2025, authorising the Assistant Director of Asset Management Property Services in consultation with the Cabinet Members for Nature, Climate and Waste Reduction and the Cabinet Member for Finance, Assets and Transformation to: a) Procure and award a call-off contract under the Gloucestershire County Council (GCC’s) “Major Contractors Framework for all works in excess of £150k” for the supply of preparatory design work, planning permission submissions and building works in relation to vital improvement works at Hempsted HRC. Following the conclusion of Major Framework process[in respect of a call off contract for the supply of preparatory design work, planning permission submissions and building works in relation to vital improvement works at Hempsted Household Recycling Centre (HRC) under Lot 2 of Gloucestershire County Council’s (GCC’s) “Major Contractor Partnering Framework (2024 – 2028) for construction related works in excess of £150K”, and having consulted with the Cabinet Member for Nature, Climate and Waste Reduction and also the Cabinet Member for Finance, Assets and Transformation in accordance with the Cabinet decision dated 3rd October, 2025:. DECISION To award the above call-off contract to the namely Barnwood Construction Ltd. The contract will end only once the required preparatory Design and Build works are completed.
