Purpose:

Content: A report was submitted seeking the Committee’s approval for a Public Path Order under the Highways Act 1980, Section 119 to divert part of Public Footpath Number 62 Tockholes.   The Committee were advised that it was the view of officers that the criteria of the legislation appeared to have been met, and the proposal had not attracted any justifiable objections during the pre-order consultation process.  The Committee agreed with the officer’s views,   RESOLVED   (1)      That a Public Path Diversion Order be made pursuant to Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 to divert part of Public Footpath Number 62 Tockholes, as shown on the plan attached to the report.   (2)      That if no objections received, the Order be confirmed.   (3)      That if objections are received, and not subsequently withdrawn, the Order be passed to the Secretary of State for confirmation.
