Purpose: This report requests a limited modification of the contracts for Highway works, with a current framework contract end date of 31st March 2026. The modifications would be for a period necessary to enable the procurement process for a new Council-wide Public Realm works contracts to be concluded, including an effective amount of time for mobilisation into the new contracts.

Content: This report requests a limited modification of the contracts for Highway works, with a current framework contract end date of 31st March 2026. The modifications would be for a period necessary to enable the procurement process for a new Council-wide Public Realm works contracts to be concluded, including an effective amount of time for mobilisation into the new contracts. 1.          Appendix 1 is not for publication on the basis that it contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information) as set out in paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).   2.          To approve a modification of the current Highways contracts by extending the end dates of the current contracts for a period necessary to enable the completion of the procurement process for the Council-wide Public Realm works contract. The modifications requested herein cover the following five highways’ contracts: ·       Paving; ·       Asphalt Resurfacing; ·       Lighting & Electricals; ·       Projects; and ·       Structures.   3.          To agree the Contract Modification Values for each contract included in Appendix 1.
