Purpose:

Content: 1. The Canterbury District Local Plan (Regulation 19) (Appendix A) and the accompanying Sustainability Appraisal and Habitats Regulations Assessment is approved for publication for a period of eight weeks to allow representations on matters of soundness and legal compliance.   2. Following publication, the Canterbury District Local Plan (Regulation 19) (Appendix A) and supporting documents, along with the representations received, be submitted to the Secretary of State for Examination.    3. Authority be delegated to the Joint Chief Executives, in consultation with the Leader and Deputy Leader, to propose changes to the Canterbury District Local Plan (Regulation 19) (Appendix A), that may be necessary to address soundness issues raised in response to the Regulation 19 publication and during the Examination.    4. Authority be delegated to the Joint Chief Executives, in consultation with the Leader and Deputy Leader, to make any necessary editorial changes and non-major amendments to the Canterbury District Local Plan (Regulation 19) (Appendix A) and the accompanying Sustainability Appraisal and Habitats Regulations Assessment prior to publication, submission and during the Examination, to help with clarity, consistency, explanation and presentation.
