Purpose: This report seeks permission to utilise Crown Commercial Services G Cloud Solution to call off a support and maintenance contract for our existing APEX Asset Management System. The Apex Asset Management system is a hosted solution which allows the Council to monitor and manage various requirements within its assets (i.e. repairs caried out or required). To allow the Council to continue to use the system, licensing and associated support and maintenance is required. If a contract was not in place for this the Council would lose access and would not be able to access existing data or continue to manage assets.   The G Cloud Solution is a national solution compliant with procurement regulations and available to Local Authorities to utilise. We wish to establish a 12 month contract with a further 12 month option to extend.
