Purpose:

Content: RESOLVED that Cabinet –   (a)      approves the further development of the Local Growth Fund programme within Denbighshire, and regionally through officer input, in line with the principles set out in the report;   (b)      delegates authority to the Corporate Director: Environment and Economy and the Lead Member for Economic Growth and Tackling Deprivation to develop and submit Denbighshire’s priorities for inclusion in the Regional Transition Plan to enable the programme funding to be drawn down;   (c)      supports the proposal for Gwynedd County Council to continue to act as the lead body within the region for the new Local Growth Fund during this transition period making best use of existing and proven structures and processes;   (d)      delegates authority to the Corporate Director: Environment and Economy and the Lead Member for Economic Growth and Tacking Deprivation to finalise and implement a Project Selection process, ensuring that consultation on the draft Project Selection process (Appendix 3 to the report) was first undertaken with elected members as part of the overall reporting process (Appendix 2 to the report), and   (e)      confirms that it has read, understood and taken account of the Well-being Impact Assessment (Appendix 4 to the report) as part of its consideration.
