Purpose:

Content: To award contract to Hartwell’s regarding extension of cycle track at Stratford Recreation Grounds. To provide consistency in maintenance and appearance of existing cycle track and providing best value for money. Value not exceeding 150k excluding vat.   The existing cycle track was built in 2021. It was tendered in 2021 and awarded to Hartwell’s. The extension needs to link into the existing track also with utilities and tarmac extensions etc. Hartwell’s are already aware of exactly what exists and are best placed to ensure the extension is built linking in with existing design and utilities and resurfacing some areas of the existing track that they originally installed. Also some urgency as some works need to complete before the start of the summer season.    1.   Award to Hartwells. 2.   Other contractors doing the works. Pulse consultants leading on the work and advising re design and implementation.
