Content: The Director of Transformation and Change submitted a report to approve funding for The Small Business Academy to deliver a Business Support Service that offers advice and guidance to help businesses in the borough develop and remain sustainable.   Decision   The Planning Policy and Economic Development Portfolio Holder and Resources Portfolio Holder agreed:   ·       That approval is given to fund local business support by a provider at a cost of up to £110,000 for 2026/27.   ·       That approval is given to award a new contract to The Small Business Academy under the exemption to the Contract Procedures contained within the Financial Procedure Rules on the basis of Demonstrable Best Interest.
