Content: The Assistant Director of Engineering submitted a report to provide an update on the Our Future Coast (OFC) programme, funded through the Environment Agency’s Flood and Coastal Resilience Innovative Programme (FCRIP).?Also, to seek approval to procure services from a consultant in order to progress packages of work. Decision The Resources Portfolio Holder and Neighbourhood Services and Community Safety Portfolio Holder agreed: · That approval is given to appoint consultants as set out below: under the exemption to Contract Procedures contained within the Financial Regulations and Financial Procedure Rules, on the grounds that: “Exceptions may apply regarding the appointment of consultants, including architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, solicitors, barristers and other people providing professional services.” · Retention of G Lymbery as approved in the Portfolio Holder Report published 1 May 2025, to lead Work Package (WP)3 Monitoring and Evaluation and WP4 Adaptation Pathways (additional maximum cost £63,000).
