Content: To award the concession contract for the supply and maintenance of bus shelters and Free Standing Advertising Units.   Authority to take this decision was delegated by the Cabinet at its meeting on 25 June 2025 (report no FIN/699 refers). Councillor M Jones, Leader of the Council, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning and Economic Development; Cabinet Member for Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change; Head of Economy and Planning and the Head of Law and Governance has exercised their delegated authority to approve the award of a fifteen-year contract for the Bus Shelters and Free Standing Advertising Units Service Concession to Bidder 1 as set out in consideration report PES/515.   The Leader also noted that (in line with the delegation approved by Cabinet via report FIN/699) the negotiation, approval and completion of all relevant documentation, including legal paperwork following the awarding of the contract will be undertaken by the Head of Economy and Planning and Head of Law and Governance.   The Leader agreed that the Head of Head of Economy and Planning be delegated authority to approve installation and/or replacement of bus shelters, and authority to sign bus shelter licences.
