Purpose: To provide an update and summary on the results of Senior Pay Policy analysis

Content: 1.    That the Pay Policy Statement for 2026-2027 and data contained within the appendices to this report be approved. 2.    That the publication of the Pay Policy Statement and data in line with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 be approved. 3.    That it be noted, the NJC and JNC national pay awards for 2026-2027 had not been agreed, at the time of writing the Pay Policy Statement. 4.    That it be noted, this Pay Policy had also been updated to include the nationally agreed JNC and NJC pay awards for 2025-2026. 5.    That it be noted, once the requirement under the draft Local Government Pension Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2026 were confirmed, a separate report confirming the changes and applying the statutory function to the Executive Director of Pensions post would be submitted to Cabinet for approval.
