Purpose: New Aberdeenshire Adult Carer Strategy 2025 to 2030 for approval by IJB.

Content: Circulate to all IJB members the figure for the economic value of unpaid carers’ work in Aberdeenshire.   Officers to follow up on support for unpaid carers. Conversations to be arranged between officers and appropriate representatives.   Additional recommendation - Report back to the IJB in October 2026 with an interim update on progress specifically around the Aberdeenshire Adult Carer Strategy.   Update and share the delivery plan for the Aberdeenshire Adult Carer Strategy with the IJB, linking it to the performance framework and monitoring outcomes.   Provide a breakdown of consultation responses by carer status (carer, former carer, non-carer) for each question or confirm if this is possible; ensure future consultations separate this data.
