Purpose: To update the Executive on the outcome of the Fareham Housing Tenancy Strategy consultation and to seek approval for adoption.   At its meeting of 7 January 2026, the Executive approved the draft Fareham Housing Tenancy Strategy for 6 weeks public consultation.  This report summarises the outcome of the consultation and the updates made in response to the comments received.

Content: To update the Executive on the outcome of the Fareham Housing Tenancy Strategy consultation and to seek approval for adoption.   At its meeting of 7 January 2026, the Executive approved the draft Fareham Housing Tenancy Strategy for 6 weeks public consultation.  This report summarises the outcome of the consultation and the updates made in response to the comments received. RESOLVED that the Executive:   (a)  approves the Tenancy Strategy, as attached as Appendix A to this report, for Adoption; and   (b) agrees to delegate authority to make minor amendments to the Tenancy Strategy, as well as the accompanying documents, to the Director of Housing and Health, following consultation with the Executive Member for Housing.
