Content: RESOLVED   i)              The Active Wellbeing Strategy contained in the Appendix A to this report be adopted; and   ii)             Authority delegated to the Director of Communities, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Wellbeing, Culture and Green Spaces, to make such minor changes to the Active Wellbeing Strategy as may be required following adoption.     REASON   i)              To inform the procurement of a new leisure management contract for the Council’s leisure centres from 2027. ii)             To pivot towards an Active Wellbeing approach to leisure across the Horsham District.   ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS CONSIDERED BUT REJECTED AS IDENTIFIED IN THE REPORT   The option of reprocuring a like for like traditional leisure management contract was considered but rejected as it was considered unable to provide the necessary mechanisms to significantly impact some of the health issues prevalent within the district or address increasing demand issues.   Not producing a new strategy was considered but rejected as the procurement of the new leisure management contract would be based on out of date data and information
