Purpose: Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) have communicated the expected funding available to Tameside MBC for the delivery of employment and skills support for the 26/27 financial year. Whilst the allocation requires GMCA’s full internal approval before grant agreements are issued and funding for 26/27 is under review pending additional details about the Integrated Settlement, all authorities have been asked to prepare to deliver support using this allocation from 1 April 2026. This report sets out the funding allocation and proposals to utilise this funding for the maximum benefit of our residents.
