Purpose: The original PSPO for this area was in operation from 31 March 2017. Ashford Borough Council has reviewed the order every three years in accordance with legislative requirements and the order has continued to be renewed following analytical data and information from Kent Police and public consultation. This order has undergone further public consultation, which concluded in March 2026, receiving a total of 112 responses, with over 86% supporting the continuation of the order. Following the analysis of the consultation data and there being no obstacles to continuing with this order. The consultation data shows that the conditions this consultation is designed to address remain a concern to the public both living and visiting the area. It is therefore recommended that this order be extended for the maximum allowable period of three years, until 31 March 2029 with the wording as detailed in the attached order.
