Purpose: ·       To consider the introduction of a 20mph speed limit and speed cushions on Ringmead, Great Hollands

Content: ·       To consider the introduction of a 20mph speed limit and speed cushions on Ringmead, Great Hollands RESOLVED: ·       That the formal objections received during the statutory consultation process and the corresponding Officer comments are noted; ·       that the position regarding local ward Members comments received during the consultation process is noted ·       that the installation of the speed cushions as advertised be agreed; ·       that the current (Ringmead, Great Hollands) (Speed Limits) Order 2025 be agreed. The proposals are intended to improve road safety near the King’s Academy Easthampstead Park school for pupils and other foot traffic. To not install the speed cushions or lower the speed limit would leave the road conditions are they are, including vehicle speeds considered higher than desired outside a school. This would miss the opportunity to potentially improve the road safety of vulnerable road users and pupils on Ringmead given the higher average vehicular speed on this section of Ringmead. None.
