Purpose: Approval is sought for the County Council to enter into a Section 106 agreement, under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, in relation to Ribble Valley planning application 3/2025/0196 for a full application for the development of land off Longsight Road, Langho to provide up to 300 residential dwellings and railway station car park.   A planning contribution of £18,000 for Travel Plan support and £875,000 to support the running of the Lancashire County Council subsidised bus services to support sustainable travel. Authority to take this decision has been delegated under the Scheme of Delegation to Heads of Service.   It is recommended that the Director of Law and Governance is authorised to enter into a Section 106 agreement under Section 106 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 in connection with the proposed development.
