Purpose: Pursuant to an Authorisation from: Cabinet decision (Implementing a Modified Dynamic Purchasing System (MDPS) (subsequently amended to Modified Open Framework following Officer Decision in August 2023) for Professional Services in Children’s Social Care on 10th November 2021.). There have been changes to Cabinet since the above Cabinet decision was taken on 10th November 2021. As a result, Cllr Ben Evans, Cabinet Member for Children’s Safeguarding and Early Years has been consulted in relation to decision now being taken Following consultation with the Cabinet Member for Children’s Safeguarding and Care (successor to the Cabinet Member for Children’s Safeguarding and Early Years), and in line with the Cabinet decision of 10 November 2021: DECISION: Following consultation with the Cabinet Member for Children’s Safeguarding and Care and in accordance with the Cabinet decision dated 10 November 2021: DECISION: To reopen Gloucestershire County Council’s Modified Open Framework Agreement for the provision of Professional Services in Children’s Social Care (Round 5) to permit new providers to apply. To admit the sixteen new providers identified in Appendix 1 to the following Lots, having satisfied GCC’s admission criteria: Lot 1: Independent Specialist Assessments & Testing Lot 2: Therapeutic Services Lot 3: Support to Families It is noted that on 7 August 2023, the Executive Director of Children’s Services approved a change in procurement route from a Modified (Pseudo) Dynamic Purchasing System to the current Modified Open Framework Agreement.
