Purpose: To provide assurance to the Scrutiny Committee on the effectiveness, performance, and governance of Youth Services, and to identify areas for improvement and future development.

Content: (a)       That the Committee endorse the self-evaluation narrative and the process undertaken to achieve a whole service approach which aligns with the pillars of youth work and the Estyn Framework;   (b)       That the Committee endorse the identified priority actions, including; venue stability, workforce development, digital delivery, data quality and performance monitoring;   (c)       That the Committee support the intention to apply for the Quality Mark Silver award; and   (d)       That the Committee recognise the significant amounts of good practice contained within the report and the service’s assessment of their emerging practice as areas for future development.
