Purpose: The Council approved our Transformation Strategy and Programme in April 2025 and this is the first Annual Report on progress to date.

Content: Councillor Michael Vincent, Leader of the Council and Sarah Palmer, Director of Transformation and Change submitted a report to present the first Transformation Annual Report on progress to date and seek approval for the Transformation Programme for 2026/28.   Councillor Vincent introduced the report and asked Sarah Palmer to provide a summary of the proposal.   She explained that the programme set out the progress of projects to date and proposed the transformation priorities for the next few years. She further highlighted that the programme had been reviewed in light of Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) and now focused on how LGR readiness work would be aligned with the council’s commitment to transformation.   Decision   Cabinet agreed:   ·       Cabinet is asked to note the annual report for 2025/26 and approve the Transformation Programme for 2026/28 (Appendix 1).
