Purpose: Skelmerdale Town Centre Masterplan Plot 7 Disposal

Content: Consideration was given to the report of the Director of Planning, Economy & Wellbeing, as contained on pages 177 to 222 of the Book of Reports, which set out the details of an additional development plot (Plot 7) to be included in the conditional land disposal, to facilitate a new housing and commercial scheme, combining plot 6 & 7 of the masterplan to ensure the delivery of the Business Incubator Unit, whilst strengthening market interest.   RESOLVED:   A.    That Plot 7 be included along with Plots 6, 11, 12, as identified in the Skelmersdale Town Centre Masterplan, for disposal for the purpose of delivering a new housing and commercial scheme subject to the conditions at paragraph 4.12 of the report being met.   B.    That the Director of Planning, Economy & Wellbeing be given delegated authority to undertake all associated works connected with the disposal of this additional site, detailed at 4.12 of the report.   (Members of the press and the public were invited back into the meeting.)
