Purpose: To update on progress against the 9-Year Rolling Programme

Content: To update on progress against the 9-Year Rolling Programme RESOLVED –    (i)       That progress against the Sustainable Communities for Learning Programme and the updates within report COEEI/08/26 be noted.   (ii)      That a further report be submitted in January 2027 with a revised Strategic Outline Plan for Years 4-9 of the Rolling Programme which is due to be submitted to Welsh Government in March 2027.   (iii)     That an update on the condition survey of Wrexham schools be submitted in January 2027.   Reasons for Decisions   (i) To enable the Local Authority to successfully deliver the Sustainable Communities for Learning Programme. (ii) To continue delivering this scale of investment and improvement to the school estate over the next decade. (iii) To acknowledge the importance of the Sustainable Communities for Learning Programme and the fundamental part it plays in improving learning environments for Wrexham pupils, as well as partnership arrangements with schools and their respective communities.
