Content: Consideration was given to granting retrospective approval to the Council’s response to the national consultation on the Fair Pay for Care Workers proposals. The report sought Cabinet endorsement of the submission, which supports fair pay arrangements for care workers and recognises the importance of the care sector.   RESOLVED: i)                 Cabinet retrospectively approved the Council’s response to the national Fair Pay for Care Workers consultation, as submitted.   The above decision was made for the following reason: a)                 The Fair Pay agreement for Care Workers is in line with the Council’s Thrive strategic approach
