Purpose: Family Hubs and Best Start for Life Grant funding is awarded on an annual basis and has been in place since 2022. In November 2025 it was announced that the grant would continue for a further 3 years. This report intends to secure agreement to continue to commit the grant as agreed in the current spending plan, which is approved and scrutinised by the Department for Education (DfE) and the Tameside Best start in Life sub-group of the Health and Wellbeing board.
