Content: Applicant:  Lidl Great Britain Ltd.   Location and Proposed Development:  Former Belgrave Mill, Bolton Road, Darwen   Variation of Condition/Minor Material Amendment: Variation of Condition 2 “Approved Drawings” pursuant to planning application 10/23/1140 “Erection of a new Lidl food store “Use Class E(a)) with associated car parking and landscaping” – reduce length of glassed elevation of building by 2m; main entrance doors moved to glazed elevation; reposition building 1m to the north to allow for pedestrian crossing to line in front of the entrance; delivery ramp moved along; south parking area move up by 3m following the store; south retaining wall moved north by 3m; 6 car parking spaces lost following the slight increase in footprint of store building; increase in GIA from 2,174 sq m to 2,203 sq m and minor alterations to internal floorspace areas, including a reduction in sales area of 65 sq m from 1,457 sq m to 1,392 sq m.     Decision under the Town and Country Planning Acts and Regulations –   RESOLVED   That planning permission the granted subject to the conditions highlighted in the Director’s report.
