Purpose: The Council has 4 Dog Control related Public Space Protection Orders. The Council’s Dog Control Orders were introduced in 2012 and were transitioned to Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) in October 2017. These orders were extended in October 2020 for a period of 3 years, and again in October 2023 for a further 3 years.  The Council is able to extend these orders by a further 3 years, but it is required to consult certain parties prior to a decision being made.  This report seeks approval to carry out the consultation.
