By virtue of the sub-scheme of delegation, Page 24 ‘Management of Catering Services within designated venues’ Decision: To award the contract for supply of alcoholic beverages for resale to Carlsberg for a period of 4 years, with an estimated value of £660,000. Reasons for the Decision: Competitive tender will ensure that :- A dependable supply chain is in place that guarantees continuity of stock across all named RMBC venues, including Rotherham Civic Theatre, Waleswood Caravan and Camping Park, Council?hosted public events, and the new waterfront facility at Rother Valley Country Park. The Council achieves best value for money through competitive pricing, efficient delivery arrangements, and favourable commercial terms. Services can offer a quality product range, providing a selection of alcoholic beverages aligned with customer expectations, venue branding, and income?generation strategies.
