Purpose:

Content: The Assistant Director – Digital Data and Technology has approved the direct award of a contract (DN811498) utilising Crown Commercial Services RM6098 Technology Products & Associated Services 2 – Lot 1 for support and maintenance for the Rubrik Cloud Vault for backup storage subscriptions to Specialist Computer Centres PLC with effect from 26/04/2026 for a period of one year at a total cost of £106,793.00.   The support and maintenance contract for the Rubrik Cloud Vault backup storage subscriptions expired on 26th April 2026.   A procurement process has been carried out under the Crown Commercial services A one year renewal is proposed to allow the Council maintain services while working to migrate to a cloud-based solution.   Failure to renew would remove access to the cloud backup storage tiers that hold all middle to long term backups for the Council’s corporate systems and storage   Failure to renew in time could disrupt the service and incur extra costs.   The cost of the contract can be met from the DDAT existing revenue budget.
