Purpose: This is an award of contract for the IT platform that Careline staff use to receive and respond to alarms. The current contract expires on 31 July 2026 with no option for extension.
Content: 1. Appendices 1 to 4 and Annex 3 are not for publication on the basis that it contains information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information) as set out in paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended). 2. The Executive Director of People’s Services in consultation with Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care and Health is asked to approve the award of a contract to the Preferred Supplier, identified in Appendix 1 (the “Preferred Supplier”) for the provision of Careline Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). 3. The contract will be for an initial period of three (3) years with the option for extension by a further period(s) of up to two (2) years, commencing on 01 August 2026, for the Contract Award Value included in Appendix 1 (the “Contract Award Value”).
