The cost of this commission is £24900, but HQN have projected a further £1500 in expenses, taking the total cost to be £26400. This commission of HQN (Housing Quality Network) provides a high quality advice, tailored support and training provider for housing associations to deliver an external assurance process which is fundamental for the Adur Homes Improvement Programme. We expect to receive constructive challenges and support through this process that will enable us to improve our homes. This assessment process will help us to prepare for the Regulator's Inspection. At the end of the exercise, HQN will provide a PowerPoint presentation summarising their findings, including commentary on: - The robustness of our approach to document submission and supporting evidence. - Our areas of strength, as well as those requiring further investigation or action —including, where relevant, any potential “showstoppers” or topics suitable for deep dives. - An indicative consumer standard rating — and the rationale behind it. - Feedback on our presentation, with suggestions for improvement. - Their views on our action plan — including comments on its scope, priorities, timescales, and any gaps. - Their prioritised recommendations, which can be used to help revise our improvement plan. - Suggestions for how we could enhance our current approach or strengthen the evidence base. - Feedback on the interviews and meetings — including practical suggestions to improve responses or presentation. - Their views and recommendations on the organisation and housekeeping of the inspection process, including confidential feedback on individual interviews if appropriate. The cost of this inspection is £24,900k inc VAT. HQN also expects there to be a maximum of £1.5k in expenses We are not aware of other Providers offering this service and this Provider has a track record nationally of offering an external assurance service to a number of registered providers. This external process will complement steps we are taking internally as part of our self-assessment.
