Purpose: To approve the surrender of the lease and approve the future options for the building.

Content: Approved entering into a Deed of Surrender for the lease relating to the property set out in Appendix 2 (“the Former Housing Office”).   Declared the property in Appendix 2 surplus to requirements and to approve the demolition of the building in line with the Regeneration Programme set out in Appendix 2 (“the Regeneration Programme”).   Authorised the Chief Operating Officer (or such other authorised officer) from executing any legal documents necessary to put the above matters into effect.
