Purpose: To agree a supplier for South and Vale for the provision of new payment machines for car parks and to allow the head of Development and Corporate Landlord to award the contract in consultation with relevant cabinet members.  

Content: To agree a supplier for South and Vale for the provision of new payment machines for car parks and to allow the head of Development and Corporate Landlord to award the contract in consultation with relevant cabinet members.   For the Vale of White Horse District Council to award a joint contract with South Oxfordshire District Council to International Parking Systems (UK) Ltd (trading as IPS Group UK) through the single nominated supplier under ESPO framework 509 (Parking Management Solutions, Lot 1 – Pay & Display Parking Solutions) to provide MS1 car park ticket/payment machines, machine maintenance and payment processing for five years until 2031.   To authorise the Director of Development and Corporate Landlord in consultation with the Director of Legal, to agree, finalise and sign?all legal documents in relation to the award of the contract subject to formalising a change control notice with Saba Park Services UK Ltd, the councils’ car park contractor to only provide ‘first-line’ maintenance for car park ticket machines.  For Vale of White Horse District Council to take over the responsibility of ‘second-line’ car park machine repairs and maintenance from the car park contractor.
