Purpose: Request for additional funding where works exceed the maximum mandatory grant

Content:   Agreed to the provision of a discretionary Disabled Facilities Grant for the case detailed in the report below, to a maximum of £21,000, to deal with a shortfall to the award of the Mandatory grant award of £30k. Agreed that a Local Land Charge be placed on the property for the full value of the additional top up. If the property is sold at any time in the future this money would then become repayable to the council.
