Purpose: To request additional funding above the mandatory grant limit

Content: 1.    Agreed to the provision of a discretionary Disabled Facilities Grant for the cases detailed in the report below, to a maximum of £40,000, to deal with a shortfall to the award of the two mandatory grants of £30,000 each. This includes a sum of £10,000 as a contingency amount. 2.    Agreed that a Local Land Charge be placed on the property for the full value of the additional top up. If the property is sold at any time in the future this money would then become repayable to the council.
