Content: To seek approval to begin the relevant and required statutory consultation for the proposal to amalgamate Saltney Ferry Primary School and Saltney Wood Memorial Primary School to create a new 3-11 Primary School for Saltney. (a)      That Cabinet approves the commencement of consultation with relevant stakeholders on the proposal to close both Saltney Ferry and Saltney Wood Memorial Primary School in order to amalgamate both schools and open a new 3-11 community primary school, initially operating on the two existing sites, moving into a new single new school site to serve the Saltney community; and   (b)      That Cabinet notes any proposal, should it be approved following completion of the required statutory processes, would be implemented by September 2027.
