Content: The purpose of this report is to approve the creation of three grant funding agreements to support the delivery of the Council’s Connected Communities delivery programme in line with the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government’s Common Ground Resilience Fund.   That the Executive Director (Resources and Partnerships) in consultation with the Leader of the Council:-   a)             Approve the acceptance and utilisation of grant funding up to the value of £0.025m from the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government’s Common Ground Resilience Fund   b)             Approve the match funding utilisation of £0.025m from Asylum Dispersal grant funding resources; and   c)             Authorise the Head of Legal Services to negotiate and agree grant agreements with the Anthony Walker Foundation, One Knowsley and Shakespeare North Playhouse to support the delivery of the Council’s Connected Communities delivery programme and in line with the Common Ground Resilience Fund grant requirements.   To not accept the funding opportunity would go against the Council’s Connected Communities work programme and would negatively impact on the ability of the Council and its partners to deliver required outcomes in line with the Council Plan 2025-30. The Council would also be unable to fulfil the requirements set out in the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government’s Common Ground Resilience Fund proposal.
