Purpose: The Committee are asked to approve the Education and Children’s Services Supplementary Procurement Plan for 2026/2027 in relation to the Formartine Area. The procurement plan seeks approval to progress a construction project at Ellon Community Campus. The proposed works will make a range of upgrades and changes to the building to improve accessibility including the establishment of a fully equipped hygiene room for the use of young people accessing the Complex Needs Provision within the building.

Content: There had been circulated an exempt report dated 24 March by the Director of Education and Children’s Services which sought approval of the Education and Children’s Services Supplementary Procurement Plan for 2026/2027 in relation to the Formartine Area.    Following consideration of all the information provided, the Committee:   (1)       noted the Directorate Supplementary Procurement Plan as detailed in Appendix 1 of the report,   (2)       approved the item on the Supplementary Procurement Plan identified as falling within the remit of the Committee, and   (3)       agreed not to reserve approval of the Procurement Approval Form for the item on the Procurement Plan as the value of the matter is between £50,000 and £1,000,000.
