Content: a)        RECOMMENDATION FROM THE EXECUTIVE – MEETINGS OF       COUNCIL AND THE EXECUTIVE 2026/27   Resolved –   That the ordinary meetings of Council for the 2026/27 municipal year be held on a Wednesday as set out below and that the proposed dates be approved.   15 July 2026 14 October 2026 9 December 2026 20 January 2027 24 February 2027 (BUDGET) 17 March 2027 19 May 2027 (Annual Meeting)   To be actioned by:  Director of Legal and Governance   b)    RECOMMENDATION FROM GOVERNANCE AND AUDIT COMMITTEE          - REVIEW OF GOVERNANCE AND AUDIT COMMITTEE'S      RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL RELATING TO THE    SUBMISSION OF KEY DEADLINES FOR COUNCIL MEETINGS   Resolved –   That contingent upon Council meetings being held on Wednesdays, that:   i)         the deadline in Council Standing Orders for the submission of        motions,  amendments to motions and amendments to      recommendations be moved back by 24 hours;   ii)        the recommendations to Council of the Governance and    Audit Committee of 26 June 2025 numbered 6 (1) (d) (i) and of 9   April   2026 numbered 9 (1), (2), (3) and (4), relating to changes to     the deadlines for the submission of motions, amendments to       motions and amendments to recommendations, together with the         consequential changes to the deadlines for the submission of     Member and public questions, be rescinded; and   iii)       the Director of Legal and Governance be given delegated     authority to amend the Constitution accordingly and to make any    necessary consequential amendments.    To be actioned by: Director of Legal and Governance
